I'm creating an affiliate program resource website at
http://www.affiliateindex.com. It's under construction, but the home
page should give you a basis of what I'm doing. I'm looking for
websites like mine that will have reviews and articles on affiliate
programs. Websites must meet the follow specifications:

1.) Must have their own domain name, not an subaccounts or
directories.
2.) Must have over 100 reviews.
3.) Must have articles/advice/columns/whatever besides a review.

I want at least 10 websites. Additional comments/advice is not
necessary. Just the links and brief descriptions (sentence or two
max). Rating will be given on how the question matches the
specifications and on effort level. Please don't answer unless you've
got at least 10 websites. More will be appreciated, but not
necessary.

Xemion-ga,

Hello, and glad to take on the question. Here's what I've been able
to find:

http://www.isawebmaster.com/ -- This site lists itself as a
'searchable directory of affiliate programs' and has quite a bevy of
reviews on affiliate programs divided into various subcategories.
Examples include:

Books & Art, Business, Computers, Marketing, Media & Entertainment,
etc. They also offer news, forums and web listings as well as an
email interface.

http://www.onestopaffiliates.co.uk/ -- One stop affiliates is a UK
based site which rates a variety of different affiliate programs, and
offers affiliate resources, and discussion boards, offered books and
web hosting.

http://www.refer-it.com/main.cfm -- Refer.it lists itself as the
'search engine that pays' offering information and reviews for over
5000 different affilate programs. It offers a really easy, visual
review system, lists its review criterion and has quite a few bits on
affiliate mistakes and how to avoid them, as well as recomended
reading lists for affiliates and the distinctions between the
affiliate programs.

http://www.sponsordirectory.com/ -- Sponsordirectory.com offers a wide
range of affilate reviews, as well as a really neat little
Defunct/Scam affiliate program list, and a beginners guide. They have
tips on starting your own affiliate program and a newsletter on the
affiliate community.

http://www.absoluteauthority.com/Affiliate_Programs/ -- This website
has over 200 reviewed listings of affiliate programs, as well as
powerpages, which offer 'the best sites we could find with really
useful tools to get things done'. They also have a community
discussion section and an education section on the affiliate business.

http://www.clickquick.com/ -- Clickquick offers over 700 reviews of
affiliate and pay per click programs. They have a strategies and tips
section, they also have a significant collection of articles on the
affiliate program business.

http://www.clamins.com/revenue/ -- Claimin's review offers a variety
of reviews both site based and user based on various affiliate
programs. Also listings for the top ten affiliate programs and a
sweepstakes/newsletter section

http://www.2-tier.com/ -- 2 tier offers a huge directory style listing
of reviews of affliate programs. Also included on the site are
affiliate guides and the 'Affiliate wire', a news-from-the-trenches
kind of article list.

This site missed your 100 review criterion by only a bit, so I decided
to include it inaddition to the 10 requested reviews.

http://www.searchprograms.com/cgibin/r/starsreview/stars.pl -- This
is a pretty decent review site, offering summaries in addition to the
reviews, and the authors personal top picks.

The search query I used was: "affiliate programs" +reviews +extensive

Also, the first link, Affiliate programs @ HowAmazing.com is a great
resource. It listed most of the affiliate programs that fit your
criterion, as well as many others.

Excellent answer. Exactly what I asked for. Thank you, bitmaven.

Xemion,

You'll notice there are only 8 listed above: ) Thats because I ran
out of time there. Here are a few more resources, in honoring your
request for 10:

http://www.cashpile.com/ -- Offers a review of over 3000 affiliate
programs of varying stripes. They also offer a cashpile 'critic' who
goes into more detail about affiliate programs both big and small,
chronicling 'Where they've been, where they're going, and how you can
profit, as the archive listing states.

http://www.cashpile.com/critic111901.cfm

Also included is the Affiliate voice, a community board for affiliate
program participants and a rather impressive newbie section.

http://www.sponsorsetc.com -- (I sent you to the start page, the page
I got in with from google is filled with adspam and is really long!)
This site offers over 150 different reviews on affiliate programs as
well as links on statistics counters, banner exchanges, success hints
and tips and other resources.

Hope these help!
