Ok, here's a tough one for y'all.

For a few years, a French company named Lag Guitares produced a MIDI
controller keyboard called "Le Key" (see references below). Similar
devices are produced by Roland, Yamaha, etc... but most of the latter
are rather dinky plastic and/or metal constructions, whereas the "Le
Key" has a nice wood body.

Apparently Lag no longer produces "Le Key" (though they apparently do
still make guitars). I would like to buy one of these "Le Key"
keyboards, preferably new (maybe somebody still has a few in a
warehouse somewhere?), though used and functional (i.e. no repairs
necessary in order to use it) is ok.

As far as I know, there was not much choice in styles; the only
preference I would have in this regard is to include the optional
wireless MIDI capability if possible. I would be willing to take
responsibility for purchasing any required voltage adapters on my own.

I'll warn you in advance that this product seems to be quite elusive;
anybody up for a challenge?

Thanks!

Lag's US site ( http://www.lagusa.com/ ) has a link at the bottom
to the LeKey which shows "we're working on it - come back soon" so
maybe they will market it again. Also you can email Lag on their
French site - the Contact page has a Foreign Customers link. I just
did and am waiting for an answer.

Hope you find one - please post here if you do! This is the only
decent looking strap-on in my opinion.

Cheers!

I called Lag in France and all they told me was they're not making the
Le Key anymore so I'll have to look for one second hand. No luck so
far so if you do turn up a warehouse full, please let me know.

My Roland AX1 is on its last legs now having been beaten to death on
the live circuit. I'm reluctant to go for the AX7 because it's built
the same fragile way.

Hey, thanks for the comments; maybe something will still turn up. I
also have a Roland AX-1 that is held together by duct tape and baling
wire--still works, but it definitely looks non-professional...
