Most glass polishing powders are suspension treated to improve their
suspension quality when mixed with water. I'm looking for technical
information on this subject; how it's done, what additives to use,
etc. Thank you.

Most of the information I've seen thus far indicates that suspension
quality for glass polishing powders is improved by using soft water
and any one of a number of conventional surfactants, such as alkaline
alkylaryl sulfonate, lauryl sulfonate, dodecyl sulfonate, dodecyl
sulfate, lauryl ether sulfate, dioctyl sulfosuccinate, dihexyl
sulfosuccinate, diamyl sulfosuccinate, phosphoric acid polyesters and
polysiloxanes.

Have you tried any combination of these yet? If so, what has been
your experience with them, and what sort of additional information are
you looking for?

I'm looking for specific surfactants (and the suppliers) used in the
glass polishing powder industry. I'm also looking for
instructions/guildlines on how to use surfactants in the polishing
powder manufacturing process. If you have experience in the glass
polishing powder (cerium oxide polishing powder) industry would be
great. Thank you.
