My wife holds a law degree from Colombia. She has also finished a
one-year Masters in Law (LLM) at a top US university, has been
accepted to the NY bar and practiced law in New York City for over a
year, a few years ago. Are there any Juris Doctor (JD) programs in the
US that will give her credit for her LLM courses? i.e. would she be
able to finish the degree in less than the usual three years? Also,
are there any programs that do not place such a strong emphasis on
LSAT scores when deciding on admission?

Above, read Colombia, the country, not Columbia University.

Not really a requirement. Just having a hard time finding a job as an LLM.

As a member of the bar with an LLM, does she really need a JD? An LLM
is usually pursued after the JD. Was she told this is a requirement?
