I have been trying to find the name and artist of a song for about 10
years. I originally thought it was sung by Michael W. Smith, but now
am unsure (if not him, it certainly sounds like him). The song is
slow, ballad like, and I think has piano as the main instrument. the
lyrics that I know are as follows (they may not be exact): "You are
the one who makes me laugh, you are the one who makes me cry, Oh I
could go on and on and on, but that would do nothing if you're gone."
I believe the song is from 1993 or before. Please help, its been
driving me nuts for years!

"makes me laugh", "makes me cry", "do nothing"

I hope this helps.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! You have helped me end a search that
has been bugging me for 10 years! I had remembered the name Chris
Cuevas, but didn't know how to spell it, and searching for a song
called "You are the One" yielded more results than I could go through.
 Thank you so much! :)
