We're looking for an RSS application (news feed aggregator) for the
Windows platform that is extendable and offers the ability to work
with and store RSS articles in a user-definable RDBMS.

We're simply looking for a pointer to this software, not someone to
write it.

I am not referring to standard RSS clients such as FeedReader,
NewzCrawler, etc - I'm talking about an application designed
specifically to archive the articles into a custom RDBMS back end.

Thanks in advance!

I have found a few RSS server-side aggregators, as in this example:

http://rnews.sourceforge.net/

This particular software uses MySQL, although I assume it could be
modified to use another RDBMS.

Is this the type of solution you were looking for? If so, I can
provide this and some other pointers in an answer. If not, your
clarification may provide me or another researcher with the
information necessary to answer your question properly.

Thanks and regards,

Cyclometh (cyclometh-ga)
