This is an either/or question. An answer to EITHER of the below
(mutually exclusive) questions is acceptable.

Our firm is looking for a UK company that can help us improve the
quality of our British sales staff's telephone presentation
performance by recording select telephone conversations (with
appropriate privacy restrictions and the like in place) and allowing
managers to listen to these conversations at a later point in time.
I'm not sure that any company exists, but would love to know if it
did, or, alternately, if it not only no such company exists, but that
no such company could exist.

So here are the challenges:

1. Provide the name of a company in the United Kingdom, or servicing
the United Kingdom, that provides call capturing services for
businesses that wish to capture and record telephone conversations
between sales staff and clients (with an appropriate "your call may be
recorded" warning, of course, to callers) for training purposes.
Examples of two US companies that provide these services are Who's
Calling (www.whoscalling.com) and Call Source (www.callsource.com).

2. If no such service exists, nor COULD exist, in the UK because of
specific privacy restrictions above and beyond those imposed in the US
(or for other business limitations which would completely exclude the
existence of such a UK company), explain why such a company could not
possibly exist irrespective of market demand.

Please contact me with any questions.

Thanks and good luck!

Hello Logicalboyla -

Thanks for the rating. Any reason why these won't work out?

Well, we have 120 US offices and 1 UK office and the issue of scale
wipes out any ROI for our purposes AND for these firms' purposes.
It's a problem we run into a lot with our solitary UK
office--everything's pricier in large part because we have no ability
to negotiate with our bulk.

But your answer allowed us to explain that, yes, there are services we
can use in the UK but, no, we don't want to use them because the
economics won't work, which is all I needed to do. (Would have LIKED
to have done business with one of these firms, but that of course is a
market problem, not a research problem!)

Ah, OK. Please let me know if you need any additional assistance.

Thanks,

Thanks so much--sorry for the delay, the research was for a coworker
in my department who had to confirm your research. It's not the
answer we were looking for (i.e., darn those Brits for not having the
services we seek), but it closes the loop for us!
