Hi, jashnimal!

The song is "Anomaly (Calling Your Name)", performed by Libra Presents
Taylor.

"Strip Scene - American Pie

Libra Presents Taylor - Anomaly (Calling Your Name). Apparently the
Granny's Epicure mix."

alt.music.trance FAQ
http://trance.isafeelin.org/faq.htm

The song is mentioned in the Internet Movie Database:

Internet Movie Database
http://us.imdb.com/Soundtracks?0163651

This song is available in several mixes on Kazaa. The version used in
"American Pie" is the "Granny" mix.

Here are three versions that you can listen to online, in RealAudio
format:

Music Now Records

Music Now Records

(NOTE: I have found that RealAudio files from Music Now Records are
sometimes unavailable. If these links do not work for you, try again
later.)

Here's confirmation that the "Granny" mix is the one you want:

"American Pie (1999) - The Granny Mix of Libra and Taylor's 'Anomaly -
Calling Your Name' is featured in the movie."

Personal Pages of Ulf Berntsen

"In the movie American Pie, released last year, Anomaly - Calling Your
Name was used in a particular scene. It was a striptease scene which
happened to be one of the highlights of the movie. What's your take on
that?

Claudio: My personal take is that, unfortunately, myself and Paul
Brogden (who did the remix that was actually used - under the name of
'Granny') didn't even get credited for doing it; apart from that
omission, I am very glad that something I was involved in was used to
such good effect."

If, by any chance, this is not the song you're looking for, please
request clarification before rating my answer, and I'll resume the
quest.

Best wishes,
pinkfreud

I accidentally omitted the link to the source of the last quote:

Actually the "He" is a "She". But the answers are just as good!
