I am looking for an academic or research based "content" or
"information" classification scheme or model.

In corporate environments, content or information can have several
dimensions:

Its nature can vary from being highly sensitive (commercially,
politically, legally etc), to freely available (non value added).

Its flow can vary from being dynamic (moving from place to place), to
stable (residing with one person/unit).

Its ownership can vary from being owned by a business unit, a person,
or being publically owned.

Is there a research or academic based model or scheme
(preferably published in an academic journal), which considers some,
or all of these aspects?
