I am considering a teeth whitening program called, " NITE WHITE EXCEL2

It contains the following ingridients:
 Carbamide Peroxide 16% & the ingredients are Propylene glycol'
glycerin carbamide peroxide' Amorpous silica, Hydrogen peroxide,
potassium Nitrate, emulsifying wax NF,Hydroxypropyl cellulose, flavor,
deionised water, Tetrapotassium pyrophosphate,and
Dimethylpolysiloxane.

I would like to know the downside in using this product for a repeated
application of ten times. It basically bleaches the teeth white. Any
side effects such as increased sentitivity, gum problems or weakening
of the teeth or roots etc?
I would appreciate any reference to any research or clinical studies
(independent of the manufacturer or distributor)done on this product
or siamilar products.
