Bentcam --

The trading range for Ameritech on the NYSE on Friday, May 24, 1991
was:
57 ¾ - 58 7/8, closing at 58 ¼, +1/8

The trading range for Pacific Telesis was:
38 7/8 - 39 3/8, closing at 39, unchanged

Google search strategy:
I used the Proquest Historical Newspaper database to access the New
York Times for 5/25/1991 and checked the NYSE trading summaries. This
is a fee-based database commonly available at many public libraries.
