Hello -
Market and sales data will be unavailable for Syscon. Please let me
know if it's still OK to continue research on this question, or if
you'd like to reduce your price.

Hello glbrtestrada-ga,
Please confirm that you are looking for a comparison of the Syscon
PlantStar product from Syscon International and the Moldflow Shotscope
from Moldflow Corporation. It seems the Shotscope product has been
superceded by Moldflow MMS 1.0.

Control & Monitoring at NPE 2003 -- The World's Plastics Showcase
June 23-27 2003, Chicago, IL
Eyes on your plant floor
New monitoring networks are the big newsmakers at this show. All the
familiar names are bringing out new versions. Both Syscon-PlantStar
and RJG are coming out with two plant-monitoring systems eacha
low-end and a high-end version. Mattec and Hunkar Laboratories also
have new versions of their Windows-based monitoring systems. And
Moldflow will show off its new Moldflow Manufacturing Solutions (MMS)
1.0, which integrates into one platform the monitoring functions of
its former Shotscope product with the control capabilities of the
Moldflow Plastics Xpert (MPX).
My preliminary research shows that there is no comparative data for
the PlantStar and Shotscope products readily available on the Web.
Please give some additional information to help me locate the
information you need. The more youre able to share about what you
already know, the more likely Ill be able to complete the research
for you. Thanks.

Please continue with the research. I understand that there might be
some of the date missing, but I still want your best results
available. I will leave the price a lone, but I will appreciate your
best effort.
You are correct about your comments about shotscope.
Kind regards,

Hello again,
I would like to answer your question but my preliminary research shows
that there is very little available on the Web about the two products
(PlantStar and ShotScope) that you're interested in. Please give me
additional information about the companies and what you already know
so that I can find what you need. Thanks.

YES, I am looking for comparison analysis between SysconPlantStar
Machine Controls and Moldlflow Shotscope. I understand that some of
the Market and Sales data may not be available, but I still want the
Product strenghs such as: Architecture, Ease of use, information
presentation, whatever you can compare them with. I will leave the
price as is, but please add RJG as the third verndor to compare to.
I only have a week or so on for this information, please let me know
when can I have it or if I can have it.
Thank you.

Additionally,
If you can build an Excel spreadsheet and copare the three of them in
one way or the other, such as on a Matrix array, it would be great.
Please let me know if this would be possible.

At this poing I believe I have provided you with enough information. I
have asked that you compare the companies in whichever way you can and
I keep getting asked the same question over and over. Please let me
know if this is now a dead question, so I won't be expecting anything
further.

Your question remains available for any Google Answers Researcher to
answer, should they choose to do so. But it appears that there is
little publicly available information on these products, and
Researchers have been reluctant to claim the fee with a sketchy
answer.
Your question is set to expire on 6 September. If you would like to
expire it sooner, you may do so by going to the "My Account" page.
There will be no charge to you apart from the 50 cent listing fee you
paid initially.
