I haven’t been able to find it specifically stated that a special
education credentialed teacher can or cannot teach a regular education
class full-time in a public school in California.  However, based on
the information that I have found, I believe that a credentialed
special education teacher can teach a regular class full-time if the
teacher is also credentialed to teach the subject of the regular
class.
