Question ID: 241688
I don't want to build a Java GUI, but I want to build a mockup of what
several key screens in the Java GUI to demonstrate what the GUI would
look like if it were built. What's a good drawing program for this
kind of thing? It must run on Windows and be easy to learn and use.

Hello:
Do you want a software to allow you to create forms that simulate a
Java GUI or simply forms, no matter the widget set? I mean, Do you
need the forms to look like Java forms or could be any other forms? In
any case, I can build any screen mockup easily and visually using
JBuilder 9.

Regards.

The answer to your first question is: the former. I tried JBuilder 9,
but I don't know the Java GUI API well enough to use that IDE. It's
really a drawing program that I need (I have to do this myself, I
can't really have someone else doing it).

I should mention if someone does say "use such and such a drawing
program" I'd appreciate detailed info on exactly how to create a mock
GUI. I don't really know how to use any drawing programs.
