I have a silver souvenir spoon, inscribed with "Mame from James, May 29, 1891" and on the bowl of the spoon is engraved a picture of a monumental obelisk, set on a pedastel, with steps leading up it and what is perhaps a door leading into the base, like an entrance. At each corner of the pedastel is what may be a winged creature - a griffin? There is also a statue of a man, about 1/3 the height of the obelisk, standing at its base. | |
