You can backup your e-mails with a relatively straightforward
procedure, and save them to the storage medium of your choice for
transfer to a new computer. However, you will probably need a fairly
large capacity medium -- more that a floppy disk could provide -- to
transfer your emails.

For the steps involved, see the following site:

http://www.sitedeveloper.ws/tutorials/outlook.htm

which notes that: "This tutorial is designed to provide a quick and
easy way to back up your Microsoft® Outlook® or Outlook Express®
e-mail."

Enjoy your new system.

keywords "Outlook backup" in the search on http://www.microsoft.com. I
am using this from last 2 years.

Shail,

I was sucessful following instructions per URL answer. The task aas
not rocket science, but, I needed a 100% result, and had no prior
experience in this. The Outlook back utility will get a test run on
another day.

Thanks !

Martin
