Please find any information (Corporate, SEC, NASD, etc.) about the
company:

W.L. Ware Enterprises and Investments, Inc.
1311 Kirk St.
Orlando, FL 32808

I was able to find an entry from the Florida division of corporation
(www.sunbiz.org), but I am looking for more detailed information about
the company including and not limited to SEC filings, lawsuits, tax
filings. Thanks in advance.

I found a bit more:

WL Ware Enterprises & Investments Inc
Phone: (407)522-6573

A fellow named Warren Ware is affiliated with the company, but I do
not know in what capacity.

According to the ORLANDO SENTINEL for September 14, 2000, a Civil Suit
was filed in Orange County between Stirling Cooke Insurance Service
vs. Warren Ware for contract/indebtedness claims. I cannot confirm
that this is the same Warren Ware that is connected to the company in
question.

Hope this is useful information.

And a bit more still...

At this site:
http://www.octaxcol.com/dev/result.asp?txtAccountID=242228061402330

which is the Orange County Tax Collector Property Tax Information, you
can find the property records for this listing:

WARE JERALDINE
1311 KIRK ST
ORLANDO FL 32808-6960

Sorry you weren't satisfied with the results. I did come up with a
possible lawsuit and some tax filing info as you requested. From all
appearances (that is, from the real estate tax records) this seems to
be a home-based business, probably pretty small scale. I wouldn't
expect there to be much in way of SEC, etc. filings. Good luck with
your hunt, though.

Spanky.

Neither Warren Ware, Jeraldine Ware, or WL Ware has anything on file at the SEC.

I'm giving this answer 2 stars because I believe the only relevant
pieces of information found were the lawsuit article and tax
information. The phone number was already available from
www.sunbiz.org, which I had already located. I was hoping for some
more information about the purpose of the company and other outside
references (SEC, etc).

This is a privately held company which means that there is often not
very much information to be found, other than maybe a directory
listing. They do not have the same reporting requirements as
publicly-held companies which file with the SEC.

There are other companies operated by this guy:

Officer/RA Name Entity Name Document Number
WARE, WARREN W.L. WARE ENTERPRISES AND INVESTMENTS, INC. P01000036823
WARE, WARREN DIAMOND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, INC. P96000025717
WARE, WARREN DIAMOND AUTO TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, INC. P98000011032
WARE, WARREN MINC AUTO TRANSPORTATION, INC. P98000099454
WARE, WARREN M & D TRUCKING, INC. P96000021102

The only one I was able to find a listing for is Diamond
Transportation Services:

5425 S Semoran Blvd # 11
Orlando, FL 32822-1748

ultiefan1-ga or davidsar-ga: Does the fact that the company is not
publicly held in turn mean that they are not regulated by the SEC
whatsoever? I am familiar with the entity know as an "investment
club" (c-corp, s-corp, or LLC) where no particular license is needed
in order to act as a small "investment firm". However, it is my
understanding that once a company takes on many (over 10) investors
from multiple states, the company or corporation must file with the
SEC and obtain some sort of license(s). Ultimately my question is:
Is it possible that W.L. Ware is registered/regulated with the SEC and
is there an easy way to find out? Thanks again for your help.
