Although I have examined many sites, more images of Trail of Tears
paintings with women have been elusive and I want you to know I am
continuing research for more examples.  Should I locate any, I will
post them here in the clarifications.

many Cherokee artists. "Shadow of the Owl" is probably the best known
Trail of Tears painting in this gallery. " Heart of the Eagle" also
depicts the tragedy of the Cherokee Removal."
