Warren Towle Mosman, an American sculptor, proposed four sculptures for the 1939 Worlds Fair. The sculpture was supposedly known as the Seasons were male and female heads on greek columns representing summer, fall, winter spring. He produced four plaster models for the Fair proposal, but his concept was rejected. Seeking information on Mosman's relation to the 1939 Worlds Fair and these sculptures. Figural evidence would be desirable, but text discussion linking Mosman to these sculptures and the 1939 would be great. |
