An alternate term is "danseur noble": "The Danseur noble is the male equivalent of a ballerina." http://www.fwdballet.com/kids/index.asp?ID=0203 "danseur noble n : a male ballet dancer who is the partner of a ballerina" http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=danseur+noble&r=3 |
