What are the different Identity cards in Europe called and how much do they cost?

Hi Mill,

At this stage there is no European ID card, there are mainly
conferences about the subject. Each country has its own passport: so
would you like to have your information from each individual country?
That would be quite some work.

I am after the information for each individual EU country that
currently has an ID card in place. I have the information for the UK
already.

I am also interested in any statistics for how many people in Europe
have a driving licence and passport respectively.

i`m from greece and i`m trying to find some info on European ID cards
too. All I know so far is that no European ID exists at the moment.
mill if u are interested I could make a copy of our National ID card
and mail it to u (.jpeg format). Maybe u could do this for me too. It
would help my research very much.
