I am trying to locate a good dog breeder of English Style Labrador
Retrievers. I was looking for one in particular Debbie Roche, Easton,
CT, but any referrals for someone in New England would be an
acceptable answer.  I have found a lot of sites that list breeders for
labrador retreivers but they don't specify American or English.
So my question is where can I find a listing of reputable dog breeders
that breed English Style Labrador Retreivers.  Thanks

I have located Ms. Roche and her kennel.  The kennel is in Holden,
Maine.

I found a reference to a Deborah Roche in an American bred catagory at
http://www.bpdsonline.com/past%20shows/LRC%20National/2002/dogs.htm -
I then found a reference to her kennel location at
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22debbie+roche%22+labrador
in the text:

"Results... Killingworth's Ambleside Bisque. Owner: Debbie Roche &
Lorraine Taylor., Holden, ME 04429. Breeder: Debbie Roche & Lorraine

The page would not open --a dead link-- but the listing showed the
location of Holden, Maine.  I then searched [labrador breeder "holden
maine"] (without brackets) and the Killingworth Labrador Retrievers
came up as the only result.  Killingworth is also mentioned in the
above listing for Roche.

Thanks for the prompt reply.  I didn't think I'd actually find her.

Thank you for your rating, comments and added generosity!  I forgot to
add above that I did phone the number to ascertain it was working and
I left a message asking for confirmation that Ms. Roche was associated
with the kennel.  I have not yet received a reply (and I'll let you
know if I do).  Being that I also discovered a D. Roche in the Holden
area, I believe she is currently affiliated with the kennel.

To clarify a few things:
Deb Roche owns a different kennel called Wassookeag
Retrievers(wwww.wassookeagretrievers.com, and often works with us on
breedings(Killingworth Labrador Retrievers).

My wife and I are in business with Lorraine Taylor, and although she
does
have an address in Holden, she is rarely there.  Primarily she has a
cell
phone.  We are taking over the business/kennel.

I actually made a mistake and mixed up two breeder.  Sue R. is
Wassookeag Retrievers.  Debbie Roche is down in CT, but isn't breeding
much anymore.  We have one of her last producing bitches (Jannie Mae).
