I have a Radio Shack VHF marine radio, model MT 400. The schematic in the manual shows IC501, which I require. The actual chip No. is Uc10898. I would like to purchase one or two chips, please help. | |

Hi howie2348, I wanted to let you know I did some extensive research for you on your question. The bottom line is Radio Shack doesn't have the chip and they have discontinued selling marine radios. I called the Ft. Worth customer service 800# and spoke to a supervisor. I then called a central location that sells component parts such as what you need and they didn't have it either. I wish I had better news for you... perhaps another researcher can find the chip. Regards, tlspiegel |
