Are you certain of the accuracy of this number? I have searched a
database of CUSIP numbers, and 65231220 was not found there.

This number appears on an IRS information master file request from the
year 1990. I know all cusip numbers have 9 digits. perhaps a -0 should
be added?

Adding a zero to the end of the number didn't help. The database I'm
using still doesn't find anything.

Do you have any additional information about this company?

Hi, after working at a major bank as a securities processing intern, I
learned that cusip numbers "roll-up" into other cusip numbers for many
reasons. One such reason would be a merger or acquisition. If the
legal entity associated with the cusip in question became part of a
joint venture, that could also change the number. We had a system
that mapped out what any given number was "rolled up" too. If I'm not
mistaken, the system got it's information from the Depository Trust
Company. http://www.dtc.org

If an answer can be found, I think the DTC will know it.
(I wouldn't be surprised if you have to pay for it though)

Have a good day.

Hi:

Thanks for your observations. I did find out the name just a few days
ago through CUSIP. I actually had to write their offices in NY and
request a search. But they did it. Thanks, Chuck
