About MSC.Nastran Software(Windows' NT version no earlier than year 2001 RE: Example problem/ SEC 12.12 Pages 380-388/Cantilever with Uniform Load Output Tables/ Stress Distribution in BAR Element/ Page 388 REF: MSC.NASTRAN Primer for Linear Analysis/ Second Edition 2001/ By Harry G Schaeffer The printed stress outputs are clearly wrong Need to determine if someone is in agreement with me. If so is respondent willing to run this problem (only) on leased Nastran software on the available Windows NT version (after 2001) and share with the questioner whose only purpose is to verify if the printed published output was just an one time error subsequently correted. Responder may negotiate for additional costs involved. If responder wishes to run the problem the input data, which is extremely short must be posted for mutual agreement. Response restricted to person or persons holding lease on said software, or have free unlimited access to it in any manner whatever. |
