What does HzTz stand for? (I suppose I'm really asking what its organic formula is.) It's some sort of advanced explosive compound. |

Howdy qurious! Name: HZTZ Chemical Name: Dihydrazinotetrazine Chemical Formula: C.sub.2 H.sub.6 N.sub.8 (C2 H6 N8) For the full text of a patent titled ""Energetic deterrent coating for gun propellant" which in part describes usage of HZTZ, go to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) website Patent Number Search page located at: http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/srchnum.htm In the "Query" box put in the following patent number and click on the "Search" button. 6,345,577 You can also go to the USPTO Quick Search web page and type in "HZTZ" (without the quotes) and click on the "Search" button. http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/search-bool.html If you need any clarification, feel free to ask. Search Strategy: Went to the USPTO website and searched on "HZTZ" through their Quick Search web page. Looking Forward, denco-ga |
