Hi astern,

I hope you find the following answer meets your needs. If not, please
request a clarification before rating and I will do my best to satisfy

According to the Internet Movie Database at, Larry
David is in fact married, and his spouse is Laurie David, now a noted
environmental activist. They have been married since 1993 and they
have two children. The two met when Laurie was working with David
Letterman as a talent coordinator. An amusing anecdote about their
early relationship can be found at

Some details on their wedding and marriage (focusing on Laurie's role
as an environmentalist) can be found in an article by Larry David in
the LA Weekly, available at

Cheryl Hines, who plays Cheryl David on HBO's "Curb your Enthusiasm",
is also married, to Paul Young, one of the directors of the improv
group where Cheryl Hines got her start as a comedian (see note below).
They have been married since Dec. 30, 2002.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Cheryl Hines states that her
comedy training at L.A.'s Groundlings Theather (with Lisa Kudrow as
her teacher) helped prepare her to play the role of Larry David's wife
on the HBO program.

I hope the information above is helpful to you. If for any reason you
find the above answer unsatisfying (i.e., anything but a five-star
answer), please let me know in a request for clarification, so I can
do my best to meet your expectations before you rate the answer.

Good luck,
