I am using Visual Studio .net 1.0 and have created a web page (the parent) that has a popup window (the child) for the user to make a selection from after making selection the user clicks a hyperlink to return to the parent form i am using "JavaScript:opener.location.reload();opener.focus();window.close()" for the navigateURL property and storing the selected value to a session("variable") What I am having a problem with is geting the parent to postback and display the new value. I am aware of a java function _doPostback bu am unsure of how to use it in the navigateURL property, can anyone give me the correct syntax for this so that the parent page automatically posts back when the popup is closed. In additon I need the value to appear in a specified dropdown control is there a way to specify the control name in the navigateURL | |
