I need to spend next Saturday night in a hotel in Bern. The hotel must
be near the station (Hauptbahnhof) and car parking facilities must be
in the vicinity. The hotel should be fairly simple - ie.e not the
Schweizerhof! Can you help me?

Schweizerhof is five-star.)

From a quick check of the links, I have found two hotels near the
station and parking, one of which is three-star and the other of which
is two-star.  There are likely others that are in the right location
as well.  (While there is parking in the area, you might want to ask
the hotel in advance how crowded the parking might be.  I imagine that
the Sorrell Hotel Ador is particularly good for parking, since a
parking facility is in the same building.)
