Am looking for a (new) copy of Barbara Scher's book "Creating Your 2nd Life After 40." I was surprized I couldn't find it through my normal sources. Is the the place where i say I would pay $10.00 to know? Respectfully, Su Strong |

Dear sougougle, I am quite sure that the book you are looking for is actually Barbara Sher's "It's Only Too Late If You Don't Start Now: How to Create Your Second Life After Forty". Maybe the problems you experienced when you tried to find a copy of that book resulted from the fact that the expression "Second Life after Forty" is only part of the tagline, not of the main title. Unfortunately, that book is currently out of print. But at Amazon.com, numerous Amazon Marketplace Sellers offer copies, two of which are new, thus matching the condition you are looking for: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/offering/list/-/0385315058/104-2209449-2027127 The prices of the two new copies are $5.45 and $7.99, respectively, while the prices for used copies start at $2.55. Since payment for Amazon Marketplace orders is done through the customer's Amazon account, this should be the easiest and most comfortable way of obtaining a copy. Hope this helps! Best regards, Scriptor |

Not to take away form your answer which was both SPEEDY and more THOROUGH than I was expecting, but I copied the titles off of a public TV show featuring her books, and they showed two distinct books, each with half of the title you name. However, I am quite sure you are right, and I will go and rest now. |
