BACKGROUND:
I am putting together a website details the natural treatment of
depression (nutrients, supplements, herbs, superfoods, and
nutraceuticals). I need "original", "hard-to-find", and "helpful"
content for this website. I hope this information is helpful to you
in your research.
QUESTION:
I am trying to find all existing medical studies* on the use of
VITAMIN B6 in producing any of the following effects*:
-anti-depression*
-mood elevation, stabilization
-joy, bliss, happiness
-improved sleep
-mental clarity, alertness
-optimism
-increased energy (mental/physical)
FOOTNOTES:
* I have read that the National Library of Medicine (Pubmed) only
indexes 20% of the world's medical literature. Studies from all
foreign countries and obscure or hard-to-find studies are accepted
(and sought after). Many of the world's studies are not even
published in medical journals! As long as a real doctor (with a
license in his/her country) conducted it (and it's somehow
documented), it counts. If it's simply a doctor's report of trying it
with a group of patients and assessing the results, it counts. The
more studies the better. A good amount is approx. 25. If there are
more studies than that, I may decide to tip ;-).
* Effects are listed in order of importance.
* The anti-depressant effect is the most important. |
