Cannot design or run the wizard to create reports on MS OFFICE 2002
Professional for XP.Error states that the Wizard cannot run the
report. I have the machine loaded will all updates. I can send the
database to another user and they can create the report..

repair your office installation might work?

control panel,
Add/remove programs,
microsoft office xp,
change,
repair office

I have done that...I have also uninstall office and reinstalled..any
other ideas before I slick the HD and rebuild?

msft has an office clean/removal utility you can try.
it purges old registry entries and such:

thanks for the advice...ran the utility and their are no old files...
I have a dell 8200 running xp pro with office 2002 pro....For some
reason I cannot open any reports I have written or create new reports.

oh darn.  there are lots 3rd party office cleanup tools, too, (search
google for microsoft office clean), but don't have experience with
them -- you could test them for fun.
