I use Microsoft Outlook for email. I have deleted and entered new
email address information for several entries but when I start a "new"
email to an individual that I have changed email addresses in my
contacts folder the old address continues to load into the mail "to:"
box. How do you delete these so they no longer continue to load. ($10)

Hello drew3763-ga,

Did you make the changes to the contacts located in your Outlook
'Contacts' folder? Often the actual entries used for completing the
"To:" field are stored in the Windows Address Book (which then
interfaces directly with Outlook). You can access it by going to:

Start > Programs > Accessories > Address Book

If there are contacts in this list, ensure that the correct address
has been saved here. Let me know if this answer solves your problem
and I will post it as an official answer :)

Thanks,
answerguru-ga

I have already tried going to the address book under accessories.
There are no entries in there at all other than my own default email
address. the problem lies within outlook itself. when you start a new
email and start typing the persons name in the "to" box it auto
completes with the old address that has been deleted from the contacts
folder. I have also tried deleting the entire contact and reentering
all the info for the individual including the new email address and it
still plays the old one.

delete your .nk2 file
i think it's in local settings
well, first rename it, and then see if that solves your problem.

I think this is your auto-complete putting in entries in the To box -
Here is the solution: all you have to do is when the auto-entry list
pops up select the bad address from the list and click the delete key.
It will remove it. Also you can disable auto-complete on email
addresses. Let me know if it works for you.
