In Outlook 2000 have a number of mailboxes of different users open.
Under each Inbox is a spam quarantine folder where a spam filtering
program places emails. I need a macro that will move the email in the
folder to a central folder.

brief instructions --
from outlook:

tools
rules wizard
create new rule
start from a blank rule
check messages when they arrive, next
next, yes (apply to every message i receive)
move it to the specified folder
turn on this rule
create this rule in all accounts

That wont work. That will send all incoming emails into the folder.

that's right!!

if you tweak the rule a little
to act if 'subject contains text "yada"'
instead of 'apply to every message'
then do you think that'll work?

I do not see that working. The spam filter does not add any text to
the email that could be used in a rule.

I believe this can only be done programatically, that is why I posted the question.

hmm..

i'd wager pringle canister that the filter
leaves some kind of signature on the message,
though it's probably buried in the headers:
 open a spam message
 view, options
 examine the internet-header
see anything interesting?

Nothing is added by the spam filter in question.
