I will like to get a list of websites or any stores that sell
professional museum quality mask Stands (to display African masks
).These stands need to be either silver (painted),metal or chrome.
Please note that I am not looking for the normal iron (black)
unprofessional mask stands that are easy to locate on the web.

Hello Ojury37,
Are willing to consider mask stands of other materials, like plastic, glass or wood?

Hi techtor-ga,
I am not interested in wood, plastic or glass stands.I need the the
professional stands either in metal or stainless steel, this is
because some of the masks might be quite heavy and they are more
presentable on the stands that I require.
I have added a link below so that you can have a look at one been used

I hope that this clarifies your question(s).

Regards

ojury.

I agree with Amalik below that museums tend to have stands custom
made, as each museum piece is very different. You might be able to
contact the museum where you found the mask you showed here, and ask
who their supplier is.

Museums tend to make their own mounts.

The company that supplies museums with the materials they need to do
so is called Benchmark.

http://www.benchmarkcatalog.com/

You'll want the hardware section if you want to make museum stands.

And as they provide a phone number for their catalog, perhaps you can
call them to ask for advice.

Or call us for a FREE Catalog at + 609.397.1131.

Providing mount making, display and museum exhibition supplies and
services to museums, galleries, libraries, historical societies and
private collectors worldwide for over 20 years.
