Question ID: 246874
I'm trying to use the script here:

http://www.jpowered.com/dhtml/sddm/

(they have a demo)

It requires two external .js files be loaded in order to workk.
However, it requires that the .js files be in the SAME directory as
the HTML file. I need a workaround for this.

I've tried using the absolute URL, but it creates javascript errors.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Is there any specific reason as to why you cannot have the .js files
and .html files in the same directory?

Cheers,
Aditya

Our site uses a complex directory structure with tons of
subdirectories. Having to the put the .js files in each directory is
not an option (obviously). If this helps, the site is:

Hi newsguy,

Might I suggest using Milonic's script instead? It seems to be much
more configurable and it doesn't need to be placed in any particular
location.

Hope this help,

Hi!

Sure you can put .js files, say, at the root of your site or what you
want.
But don't remember update path in the "SDDM.js".
At the end of file you can see:
src=\"_put_your_new_path_here_/SDDM_"+SDDM_browser+".js\"

Working example here:
http://www.TakeReal.com/Freelance/sddm/example.htm

But all .js files in the /js/ directory.
