I am trying to find Sex & The City Season 1 on DVD in PAL format. I
can only find the NTSC version but my TV is unable to play NTSC
formats in colour.

Where can I find Sex & The City Season 1 on DVD in PAL format?

It appears that this DVD has not yet been released in PAL format.

I found this on Amazon's UK site:

"Although Region 2 encoded, inexcusably the broadcast format is

One option is buying the German version of the DVD off amazon.de.

It is in PAL format and you can choose to listen to the audio in
English.

Strangely, (as noted by Pinkfreud) the UK release of the first season
is in NTSC (even though I think they use PAL format over there).

Thanks blinkwilliams-ga. I did think of that but I wouldn't have a
clue how to navigate the menu in German. It's completely mad that for
the UK market there isn't a PAL formatted Season 1 DVD. The other
season's are available in PAL (I have those).

I really want a UK Pal version but it seems impossible. Perhaps I
should contact HBO?
