Please can you translate this into English?
(From a
description of a building completed in 2001)

Dear leander1,

Here is the translation you requested. Please note the annotations I
inserted for the terms "Fläsch" and "Grundform". Also, the term
"Baufenster" refers to a complex planning regulatory definition of
what part and area of a lot may be covered by a building.

"On the one hand compact and plastic like the old manor-houses of
Fläsch [obviously referring to a town in the Canton of Graubünden,
Switzerland], it receives its pentagonal basic shape [or: ground plan;
the exact context of 'Grundform' is not well-defined by this short
paragraph] from the acute-angled lot, respectively from the resulting
corset-like share of the site where erecting a building was allowed,
with a small preliminary garden."

Hope this is what you needed!
