suzanne gaspard gave me her seat on the bus seat. that night by
invitaion i met her at the winter palace. our conversations were
lengthy for three days. i went back to my division. she to chamonix,
we corresponded for a time then i was told that an arranged marriage
to a doctor would take place since she was a pharmacist and they would
move to oran no africa, where there were large orange grove land
holdings. the end of correspondence. sounds like fiction and at 78
why am i looking for suzanne? hope this goes to chamonix

As it is not allowed to give personnal information (i naively did one
month ago and the question was removed).
I will tell you how to locate address and phone number of someone in
France from the phone book in internet, provided that this person
1/
has a phone subscription (It should be the case, over 99,9% of the
houselholds have it)
2/
is not on the red list (the red list is an additional paying service
if you don't want to appear on the phone book)
3/
has subscribed with the name you know (which is most of the time not
the case for women if a marriage occured meanwhile)
As i understand, it is the case, you might have some difficulties, but
it is worth trying

Follow this links http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/pb.cgi?lang=en(the
official white pages phone book for france)It is in english

You have normally to give the name and town to find someone
But you can use advanced functions to cover whole regions

1/Fill the name "gaspard" in the field "name", "suzanne"in the field
surname
Leave the town field blank
2/
click on guide in front of "Dept district
or region "
3/
In the new page,
Tick "choose one region" (the default position is "choose one
department in the following region") as you have 98 departement and
only 23 regions
Choose the region you want to select
4/You get back automatically to the first page (with the name field)
The region name is now filled
5/ click on search
you will have the results for the region
5/ with the back arrow button, come back to the first page, and start
again from step N°2 to change the region name

You can proceed the 23 regions in less than 10 minutes (I will advise
you to start with Ile-de-france

oOPS I posted it too quickly
Start with 1/ile de France, 2/ Provence Alpes cote d'azur (that
includes chamonix, 3/Rhones alpes which are the most populated regions
in france (roughly, 40% of the population together)

Don't forget to tick choose a region (step N°3)

Beware, if you find a Suzanne gaspard, it might not be the right one,
check it before
