Hi,

I posted my answer and then saw your clarification.  My fault...I

Here are the only events I could find within a reasonable proximity of
Dayton:

Saturday, Aug 30

Somebody's Hero 5K, Franklin, 5km, Dan Darragh, 6753 Shaker Rd,
Franklin, OH 45005 (937) 746-1914

Heritage Festival 5K, Piqua, 5km, 8:30am, Josh Maple, YMCA, 223 W.
High, Piqua, OH 45356 (937) 773-9622

If you are willing to drive further, there are more events to choose
from.  Here is a link to the complete list in which I found the above
two races:

Those are the only lists I was able to find.  If this is not
