Hello,
I read that in the 50s-60s a UN agency (UNRWA) dispensed food to
Palestinian refugees. The question is what was included in this food ?
As many refugees lived in tents, I assume they couldn't cook - is this
correct ?
The question is particularly concerning Jordanian refugee camps (in
particular al-Hussein camp), but I guess it's pertinent to all
camps...

It is a Western notion, that living in a tent means you cannot cook.
What's the problem to have a traditional oven (Taboon), even when you
live in a tent?
