I use Panasonic digital camera NV-GS5 (this is the European brand.
there is another name for the US brand). I can see the date on screen
while recording and also while capturing to the coputer but the date
"is not being captured".
How can I record also the original dates?

Hi.

I would have been nice to know the make of the program used for
capturing.

My guess will be, that it is already stored in the file you have
saved. This assumption is based upon the fact, that most capture
programs read ALL data from the DV port(firewire/ieee1394) including
all date information.

The problem might be how you make it show these data. The program
itself might give tha answer.

I am using 3 software:
Showbiz
Win DVD
Windows movie maker
None of them show the date and I do not seam to find any options regarding this.
