Hello Doddsie,

Here are the results of my research for the number of American
households with computers and with Internet access.

According to an article published in August 2003 in the San Francisco
Business Times, an estimated 62 million households in the United
States have Internet access.

From the article “Federal Internet access tax ban will not address
e-commerce” by Kent Hoover
“An estimated 62 million American households have Internet access, and
most already pay taxes on the telephone or cable lines that provide
the service.”
