I can find no references whatsoever to anyone or anything called
"Azeideph." Can you provide any additional details? It might be
helpful to know where you encountered this name, and why you think it
is a French name.

There is no answer at this time.

The closest thing I was able to find so far was 'Aziende', which is
Italian for 'companies'. You can see it for yourself here :

I think you have been the victim of a play on word.

As far as I know, there no god or mythic creatures known as azeideph
in France, even if I don't know thoroughly Gallic myths.

But Azeideph sounds exactly the same as if you pronounced the acronym
AZF in French.

AZF was a chemical plant which exploded in September 2001, in the
French town of Toulouse.

This site contains some good information (in French
http://toulouse.azf.free.fr/ and I guess you can use Babel Fish to
translate its content to English in case you need to do so.

Perhaps you encoutered 'Azeideph' in an article in which the author
use a metaphorical reference to AZF, making it become a mythic
disaster (such as Typhoon which is a disaster but also a divinity).

Thus in fact there is no translation possible. All you can is use a
reference to a chemical disaster English people know and make the same
kind of play on word.
