Please provide names and web address of 4-5 patent law firms which are
medium sized (perhaps with about 5-10 patent attorneys), are based in
area close to US Patent Office (DC, VA, MD etc), have been in business
for 5-10 years, have already large number of patents issued (check the
number of patents from
http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/search-bool.html) and are engaged only
in patent and other Intellectual Property law (instead of all types
legal business). Preferably, the firm/ attorneys should have a track
record /expertise in process or utility patents.

An example of such firm would be Litman Law, I think.

Optionally, you may find out if the firm has a bad reputation (if you
could check).

Do you mind if the firm has been in business for longer than 5-10
years?  Or do you only want firms that have been in business for
between 5 and 10 years?

More than 10 years is fine.
