I have just purchased an oil painting on a panel that is entitled
"Charge of the light Briggade" signed by N.Bingham It is a beautiful
oil but I know nothing about this artist, when it was painted or what
were the usual subjects that this artist painted. It was originally
found in an old Omaha, Nebr. antique shop. This is all I know about
it.

Before I start, a G. C. Bingham was the commander of the Light
Brigade.

I could find no biographical information on him. I did find four
other paintings by a N. Bingham, with prices varying from $2500 to
$15,000. I will include the links below. Perhaps, if you send email
to those who sell his work, they might be able to tell you who he was.
For these prices, they should? know something.

A few years ago I purchased two small paintings by N. Bingham, but
have found little information on the artist. I purchased these
paintings for a modest amount from a gallery in Pittsburgh PA, mainly
because of their high quality and relatively low cost. The gallery
had no information on the artist. I did some internet searching a
while ago and found some, but not all, of the same listings identified
by the other poster. About one year ago, I contacted Edgar Lowen and
asked him if he had any information on the artist and how he arrived
at his estimate. He indicated that he did not have any information on
the artist and that his price was based purely on the quality of the
piece.

I will keep searching, and post what I find. I would appreciate any
information that you find as well.
