Here is a link to an aritcle that provides a good overview of
trichloroethylene (TCE) contamination of the soil and groundwater in
the Mountain View area:

http://www.svtc.org/sust_water/moffett/tce_state_jan03.htm

Please look it over, and let me know a bit more specifically what sort
of additional information you would like (e.g. toxicity of TCE, what
happens to TCE in the environment, what is being done about the
contamination, etc).

I've been involved in environmental issues for many years, and I'd be
happy to provide you with additional information on this if you'd
like...just let me know how I can best answer the question for you.

Thanks for your help. The issue is that evidently TCE's are coming
to the surface in several residential areas around the South
Middlefield area. (off of Whisman and near the old GE site)

Are the levels dangerous, what has happened to the homes/homeowners
where these outbreaks have occured, what is going to be done about it
if it is unhealthy????

I'm involved in commercial real estate and my clients are asking
questions. tx
