I am looking for a site where I can ask a general legal question
online for a reasonable fee ($20 or under) & they can respond within
24 hours; preferably even quicker. It would help even more if they
were experienced with international law.

Yes, I spotted the worldlawdirect one myself when I did a search
however didn't bother with it as they didn't mention a price. However,
I submitted the question to them but still feel my question is
unanswered as they may come back with a higher quote than I want to
pay. I also tried the law forum you listed but there is no guarantee
there you are going to get qualified legal answers.

Is there possibly any other sites out there?

Thanks.

Hi Cyphix,
Yes, there are a few more sites you may be interested in. Keen.com's
service may suit you best - you get 10 minutes of legal advice over
the phone for $20. I have also listed some other "Ask an Expert" sites
which also offer legal advice from legal professionals - free in some
cases!

• KEEN
http://www.keen.com/documents/partner/adviceco/getadvice.asp?
"How does this offer work?
The offer is simple: you pay $20 for 10 minutes of legal advice over
the phone. You can choose any legal advisor listed in the service. The
offer does not apply to advice obtained by "Appointment" with an
advisor. After 14 days of your purchase, any unused minutes will
expire.
What happens if I haven't finished my conversation when my 10 minutes
are up?
Once you've used your 10 minutes, you'll be prompted to add money to
your account in order to continue your conversation. You'll be charged
at a per-minute rate of $2.00, and you can add any amount of money to
your account that you feel you'll need to complete your call. Please
note: if you wish to make another call after you've used up your $20
package, you'll need to purchase another package.
Can I make more than one call with this offer?
If you haven't used all 10 minutes, you can use them for future calls
within 14 days of your purchase. Any unused minutes will expire after
this 14-day period.
Are there any ways of paying for this offer other than credit card?
No. You must have a valid credit card in order to take advantage of
this offer.
Can I use the $20 to pay for tax advice via email (Mail)?
Sorry, this offer is only good for advice by phone. Mail) charges are
set by each advisor based on the nature of the question."

You may also want to consider www.lawguru.com (where the questions are
sorted according to what state they come from, and if you mention in
your posting what city or county you live in, you are much more likely
to get a response from an attorney in your same state), and
www.freeadvice.com--both of these websites are free.
