Hi there,

My dad's favorite candy bar as a kid was a Waleco Coconut Bar.  It was
similar to a Mounds bar but more coconutty :-)  I've searched high and
low and apparently they don't make these any more.  I really want to
find the recipe so that I can make these for him for his birthday.

It appears that the Waleco Candy Bars were (and maybe still are) made
by the F.B. Washburn Candy Corp. in Brockton, Massachusetts.  Their

Thanks for the comment, I actually live in Massachusetts (small
world)!.  I already tried calling them and unfortunately, they do not
make them anymore, so I'm resigned to making them on my own.  :-)
