I am trying to find any possible way to watch the english premiership
soccer games live in Brazil.

The main satelite operators in Brazil, such as www.sky.tv.br or
www.directv.com.br do not offer the games.

I would not mind having to buy a new dish if this is the solution.

edhua-ga,

When do these games ("english premiership
soccer games") air? How often, once a year only, or every week or
what? What days/dates? What channels around the world show them that
you know of for sure?

Dear Edhua,

So far, I am not a bearer of good news. I researched the satellite
options and beams on Brazil and found so far no suitable channels,
only complaints from fellow Latin Americans on the shameful situation.
I'll keep researching this option, but currently I am not too
optimistic.

I found several possibilities for you to watch *certain* matches
online, if you have broadband connection, and one possibility to watch
highlights with any kind of connection. Would you like me to post
these as an answer? Are you interested in certain clubs/matches?

Politicalguru -- I could not agree more with your comment about the
ability of answering the question.

In regards to your comments, i do not want internet feeds for the
games. On cricket they are very good but on soccer is a different
story.

I hope this is not the dead end it seems to be. If you find a
solution, iŽll be happy to tip the max (100) in addition to the answer
price. If not iŽll have to settle on radio transmissions.

Thanks anyway.

Hi Edhua,

Have you tried ESPN Brazil? You can reach them at
http://www.espn.com.br, which redirects to
http://www2.uol.com.br/espnbrasil/index.shtml

The site has information on the English Premier League in general, but
I could not find a specific TV guide saying which games -- if any --
are broadcasted live in Brazil.

Good luck with your search!

I'd suggest that someone who is not capable of knowing when or what
are the English Premier League games, would not answer a question
concerning them.

<sigh>
The content of satellite transmissions is irrelevant. If Researchers
can see the schedule of what your'e interested in and on what bands,
it becomes a simple matter of forwarding that info to the custom sat.
service providers who install the BIG dishes (not the little DirecTV
dishes). My friend's father lives in the hills of Costa Rica and does
get these English soccer games (in addition to African games, Mexican
bullfights, Australian rugby, Asian "no-rules" fighting, whatever you
can think of (although having the schedule already posted from the
Asker would have made it much easier to confirm). He has 2 full-sized,
swiveling satellite dishes on a hill over his house (they're too big
to be roof-mounted, so you need to have enough property to put them
on, physically). The cost for implementation alone is in the tens of
thousands, but you did state you were interested in "any" method. I
can provide more details if you're interested.
